Assistant Director of Bands, Mr. Joseph Grobusky is starting his 2nd year at Sterling.  Prior to RSS, Mr. Grobusky served as Assistant Director of Bands at Gentry Junior School in Baytown, TX.  Mr. Grobusky is a 2008 Alumnus of Louisiana State University with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education.  While at LSU, Mr. Grobusky was a member of The Golden Band from Tigerland.  While in the Tiger Band, Mr. Grobusky enjoyed playing for 93,000 people every Saturday Night.  In addition to performances throughout Louisiana, Mr. Grobusky performed with the band in Alabama, Arkansas, California,  Florida, Atlanta Georgia, Idaho, Boston Massachusetts, Mississippi, Cleveland Ohio, Nashville Tennessee, and Austin and San Antonio Texas.  Mr. Grobusky was a member of the LSU Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band, Bengal Brass Basketball Band, and Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble. In his spare time, he enjoys running, and enjoying his Houston Rockets Season Ticket Package.
